| elliot smith killed himself last night and was found dead by his girlfriend this morning. he apparently stabbed himself in the chest. alone. he stapped himself in the chest. a suicide. a musician. an artist.
for some reason, i feel close and related to people who are musicians and artists who take their music seriously and make it their lives. when they die, it hurts. it is sad to think of what must have been going through his head for years before this even happened.
my prayers go out to his girlfriend, friends and family. |

| Southofmainstream.com has reviewed 'On the West Coast and in Love' and gave it 5 out of 5 stars!! What they wrote about it is all the more flattering. Check it out at this address: http://www.southofmainstream.com/reviews.html
There's a new San Francisco date. October 10th @ Blarney Stone 5625 Geary Blvd, between 20th and 21st avenue. We are playing with Anaura and they rock. Not sure if it is 21 and up, but I assume that it is concidering that it is a bar. We will let you know otherwise.
Also, we will be up in Newberg, Oregon at the Coffee Cottage on Noverber the 21st (Firday). We hope that we will see you there.
Keep checking back for more info because there is more to come... |

| i just wanted to take this time to congradulate ronald & cate gantt on tying the knot this past saturday. i was honored to be in their wedding and play the song that cate walked down the isle to.
they are both good friends of mine. it is very beautiful to watch two people that mean so much to you bond together in such happiness. god bless them and their many years together. |
